In the right hands, AI can do wonders

Over five weeks, in person, your child will learn to direct AI rather than lean on it. By the end they'll be creating websites, apps, and videos that they fully understand from top to bottom.

About the teacher

Braulio, the instructor
  • I'm Braulio, a Virginia native who studied Mandarin at Princeton. I have over 10 years of experience teaching and coaching kids of all ages.
  • Over the past year I've published 4 apps to the App Store and helped small business owners improve their online presence.
  • My goal is to teach your child how to think like a developer and be comfortable using AI to augment their natural abilities.

Most teens lean on AI.Yours will command it.

Course Contents

  1. 1. Hello world

Teens make their first app, website, or game with one prompt. This will serve as the baseline that we improve upon for the rest of the course.

  2. 2. Tell me what I don't know

Students learn how to explore and understand unknown domains.

  3. 3. Hey Claude, let me teach you something

Students learn how to use Claude skills.

  4. 4. Sign in with Google

Students learn how to use CLIs to integrate live databases into their projects.

  5. 5. Padding, pills, and corner radii

Students learn the basics of UI.

  6. 6. Lights, camera, Opus

Students learn how to use Opus 5.5 to make detailed motion graphics and animations within their project.

  7. 7. Magnum Fable

Students are empowered to dream big and add one final new integration or feature to their project.

  8. 8. Less is more

Students are taught the value of restraint. Just because you can build an extra feature doesn't mean you should.

  9. 9. Demo Day

Students present their projects to the whole class, who give constructive feedback after testing it live.

  10. 10. To Sol and beyond

Students receive a lesson on the state of AI, all the tools we haven't covered in the class, and how to responsibly use AI on their own outside of the class.
